PHP Upgrade

I intend on upgrading all domains and subdomains to use PHP 5.2.xx (currently, everything is running on PHP 4.4.9, which is no longer supported). If there is some reason you don't want your domain or subdomain to be upgraded, let me know. Otherwise, the PHP version will be upgraded sometime within the next week or so. PHP 5 has many advantages over PHP 4, including being much faster on the server side, so this upgrade should benefit everyone.

As of now, this main domain (betterperson.net), as well as my own test subdomain, have been upgraded to run PHP 5. (Although betterperson.net is now using PHP 5, our various subdomains on betterperson.net are still using PHP 4.4.9. Again, let me know if you don't want your PHP version to be updated.)

What should we do to this site?

It's a shame we're not doing anything more with our network's front page (e.g. this site). Any ideas of what we should do to spruce it up and make it better?

Housecleaning Completed

Sorry for the lack of an update

This site has not been changed since it was put online in 2005. Rest assured that this fact will change very soon. I will also be removing accounts that for whatever reason are no longer affiliated with The Better Person Network. We've also added a couple of sites since the network was founded, and I'll be adding them to the "Our Sites" page. If you'd like to join our network, please just drop us a line; in general, we're more than happy to try and accommodate.

Probably not the best time to bring this up...

...but I renewed our domain name and our hosting plan for another two years. So get building!

Also, if you want to host another domain name under our account, just tell me cause we can apparently add it on for cheap.

The Better Person Network has upgraded to the "New Blogger"

Well those guys at Google have been pestering me to upgrade to the new Blogger for a long while now and they finally ambushed me by locking me out of Blogger until I upgraded, so I finally upgraded. It appears that all our members need to upgrade to the new Blogger themselves in order to continue posting on this blog, which I hope you all will do. I know it's inconvenient, but the "New Blogger" looks and works exactly the same as the old one, you just need to create a Google account.

So upgrade!

Unlimited Subdomains

Just as a reminder, we now have unlimited subdomains and whole lot of unused space, so if you want to start up (a) new website(s) (regardless of whether you already have one hosted here or not), just tell me and I'll set it up for ya.

I guess I'm a little late with this. After you graduate from high school, you don't have any time to make a website anymore. We should've done this earlier!

Regardless, I'll be renewing our domain name for another year so keep building (Joanne and Lo and Katherine)!
